Estimated timeline (subject to change)

• July 2025: Berkeley Web Builder site launch
• Fall 2025: Limited beta group rollout
• Winter 2025-26: Early adopter rollout for new sites
• 2026: General availability for new sites and initial migrations

Beta and early adopter rollout

• Online guides/documentation on how to use the new platform will be added to the website and training sessions will be provided to early adopters.
• Early adopters may rebuild existing Open Berkeley sites or build new sites.
• Open Berkeley campus teams who wish to migrate may begin to prepare for future migration.
• Web Platform Services will continue to determine the programmatic migration processes.

Programmatic site migrations begin after beta and early adoption phases

• Campus teams should complete any pre-migration tasks.
• Additional training sessions will be provided.
• Web Platform Services will finalize migration processes.
• Initial site migrations will begin.
